This excursion will give you the opportunity to discover the historical centre of Paris with a tour of the city in an air-conditioned coach.

With audio commentaries (available in 11 languages), you will understand the history of Paris and admire its main squares, bridges, main streets and buildings: the Opera square, Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Trocadero square, Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Pont-Neuf, Bastille square and opera, Notre-Dame cathedral, Luxembourg gardens and Saint-Germain des Prés…

Having discovered Paris, its history and great buildings during a coach city tour (duration:1h30), you will visit the most famous monument in Paris: The Eiffel Tower.

This excursion will enable you to discover Paris from two different viewpoints:
- from a coach with a one hour and a half drive in the city,
- from an elevator ride up to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower which gives you a wonderful panoramic view.

Some history:
The Eiffel Tower was unveiled on March 31st, 1889.
Gustave Eiffel, it was the chief attraction.
Built by of the Universal Exhibition to celebrate the centenary of the French Revolution.
2 500 000 rivets were required to put the 18 000 iron pieces together to form its framework.
