Moulin Rouge Paris Offers
Moulin Rouge is probably the best known cabaret in the World and was built in 1889 and is one of the most famous landmarks in Paris – easily identified by the red windmill (as the name suggests!) on the roof. The Moulin Rouge is close to Montmartre and is best known for the can-can dance and was the forerunner of cabaret shows across Europe.
The Moulin Rouge is a celebration of a time in France when social barriers collapsed; there was hope of a better life for all with the arrival of the industrial revolution and artistic creativity flourished. Outrageous in its day, and far less shocking today, but still a fantastic upbeat and fun experience – so why not allow Discount Paris to transport you back to that carefree time and experience the Joie de Vivre of Paris in the late 19th and early 20th Century’s for the “Feerie” show at Moulin Rouge.
With a troupe of 100 artists, including 60 Doriss Girls (named after Miss Dorris, the choreographer of the Moulin Rouge in 1961), 1000’s of costumes, outstanding international artists, and the return of the giant aquarium – with 80 Musicians and 60 chorus singers – one of life’s must see events!
